Tockwotton was honored to host Senator Jack Reed at Tockwotton on the Waterfront Wednesday morning. Senator Reed was given a tour of the community and then a brief video was presented featuring a few East Providence residents who have benefited from Community Block Grant (CBG) funding. Senator Reed was recognized for his efforts in securing funds for the program by the City of East Providence. Tockwotton was awarded a $20,000 CBG in 2013 to create a comprehensive training program for staff members as we moved into our new community. In the video, you will meet Tockwotton’s current staff member, Sandra D’Ambra. Sandra came to Tockwotton as a CNA in 2013. She received Med-Tech training and certification through the program funded by the CBG.
